Growing up, I was always bigger than the other kids in my class in every way: fatter, taller, and with bigger feet. I never had a sense of what being “normal” was like, so when I started to care about the way I dressed, I didn’t have a lot of options. All of the clothes I wanted to wear I was already sized out of. Being plus size for me isn’t just an industry term that I proudly support, it’s a way of life. I’m passionate about helping women get dressed in ways that express who they are, and using their voice to be represented in an industry that so often has no interest in listening. I will also occasionally weigh in on body politics and plus size fashion industry news when I feel like my perspective enhances the current conversation. I love the opportunity to learn from all of the voices within the plus size community.
